Allah (swt) says in the Quran in surah Al mai’dah verse 2 what can be translated as:… Cooperate with one another in goodness and righteousness, and do not cooperate in sin and transgression. And be mindful of Allah. Surely Allah is severe in punishment.
If your involvement with the LGBTQ community will be a one-time thing and will not be part of your job standard expectations, then this random support would be allowed. However, if this type of help and support is going to be part of your daily job, work expectations, and growth, then this would become an issue for a Muslim person that would not deem it permissible for him/her to be involved in any type of support that strengthens the stability and the sustenance of such a community.
