‘Umrah is considered of the acts and rituals that draws slaves closer to Allah
(SWT), and Muslims have persisted on performing it and seeking its virtue. The
Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) recommended the performance of ‘Umrah and
highlighted its reward and said, “The performance of a ‘Umrah is an expiation for
the sins committed between it and the previous ‘Umrah; and the reward of Hajj
Mabrur (accepted Hajj) is nothing but Jannah.” Narrated by Al-Bukhari.
The desired meaning is that Allah (SWT) expiates from the Muslim the sins
committed between two ‘Umrahs, as long as he does not commit any major sins.
