1 – According to Imam Ahmad, the majority doesn’t allow wiping on the head cover without necessity.
2 – A different opinion from Hanbali and Imam ibn Hazm allows wiping with or without an excuse.
3 – Another opinion is based on differentiating between what is easy to remove vs difficult to remove (ibn Taymiyyah).
