If it is her first pregnancy, she should attempt to fast, and if it causes her difficulty, she can break the fast.

If it is a subsequent pregnancy, she can use her experience from her previous pregnancy to decide whether or not she should fast.

An attempt to fast is not necessary if she knows from experience that the fast will cause her difficulty.
