What should I wear to visit the mosque?
It is most appropriate to wear modest, loose-fitting clothes. For men, we recommend wearing long pants and sleeved shirts, and for women we recommend wearing pants or full-length skirts or dresses, with long sleeves. Muslim women typically wear a headscarf as well. We do not require that women visitors wear a headscarf. If you are observing a prayer, you’ll enter the musallah, or prayer hall.
