Inheritance is an Islamic right ordained by Allah (SWT) upon His believing servants who believe in Allah SWT as their creator.
Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: “A Muslim cannot be the heir of a disbeliever, nor can a disbeliever be the heir of a Muslim.”
This concern specifically applies to converts and those with parents, children, or spouses who are not Muslim, or those who have family member/s who have left Islam. None of the above-mentioned individuals would inherit by right under the outlined rules of Islamic Inheritance.
