Feeding animals, such as cats, non-Zabiha meat is permissible in Islam. The requirement for meat to be Zabiha (slaughtered according to Islamic guidelines) applies exclusively to Muslim consumption and not to the feeding of animals.
Animals are not held accountable for religious obligations, and therefore, the dietary restrictions applicable to Muslims do not apply to them. Allah has designed animals to follow their natural instincts, which may include consuming carrion or other types of meat that are impermissible to Muslims. Providing sustenance for animals using permissible means aligns with Islamic principles and does not contradict the tenets of our faith.
