The 27th night of Ramadan has been regarded by many of our greatest scholars as the strongest candidate for Laylatul Qadr.

Let me show you why.

Ubayy ibn Ka’b (رضي الله عنه)
Described by the Prophet ﷺ as the most knowledgeable in the Qur’an. Ubayy swore by Allah that Laylatul Qadr is the 27th night. (Sahih Muslim)

Ibn Abbas (رضي الله عنه)
The cousin of the Prophet ﷺ and master of tafsir noted that the 27th word in Surah Al-Qadr is هي — “It is.” A subtle but powerful sign.

Imam Ibn Hajar Al-Asqalani
After mentioning more than 40 scholarly opinions in Fath al-Bari, he concluded that the strongest opinion is that Laylatul Qadr falls on the 27th night.

Across our history, most scholars leaned toward this night.

This is not something to overlook. This is a mercy.
