AL-IMAN SCHOOL COMMITTEE CHAIRPERSON/PRINCIPAL MANAGER
The IAR seeks qualified candidates for the volunteer role of Chairperson of the Al Iman School Committee (AISC) who will also serve as the Principal Manager of Al-Iman School LLC. Al-Iman School is a PreK-8th grade institution with over 300 students and nearly 50 full-time and part-time employees. The Al-Iman School LLC/Committee constitutes the governing board of the school in accordance with the LLC operating Agreement. The Al-Iman School LLC Principal Manager/Chairperson is appointed by the Shura to a 3-year volunteer term to lead and facilitate the activities of the LLC/AISC. The Principal Manager of the Al-Iman School LLC shall implement and supervise all its business and affairs. In addition, the Principal Manager shall perform all duties, obligations and responsibilities of the position as defined in the LLC Operating Agreement. The Principal Manager/Chairperson also has fiduciary and signature authority for Al-Iman School. The role requires approximately 10 hours per week of time commitment.
Qualified candidates should possess strong leadership and organizational skills and ideally have experience in the following:
- Project Management
- Policy making and academic governance and strategy
- Familiarity with academic and Islamic curricula
- Familiarity with the IAR and Al-Iman School governance and policies
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team setting and leading teams
- Managing direct reports
