Board of Directors Nominations Open

IAR is seeking nomination from community members to fill the vacant Board of Directors position. The Board of Directors consist of five members who are elected by the Shura and serve to ensure appropriate functioning of the IAR in general compliance with the Constitution and Bylaws and act as a final binding and arbitrator of all disputes within IAR.  For further details on the Board of Directors including information on candidates qualification and the Board function please refer to the IAR Constitution & Bylaws at

Interested Candidates meeting the eligibility requirements should submit their nomination below and list their most important contribution(s) made to IAR as a member of the IAR family. 

Use the following form for submitting your nomination. You may want to consider motivating suitable candidates to submit their nomination.

The deadline for submitting nominations is midnight November 15th, 2022.

Any Muslim aged 35 years or more, who has been a member of IAR for at least three consecutive years, a resident of the Triangle area for at least 5 years and has a Permanent Resident Status is eligible to serve on the Board of Directors.
