Update on Al-Iman School Expansion and Future Plans

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh

Dear Al-Iman Parents and Community Members,

I hope this email finds you in the best of health and Iman.

First and foremost, I would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the Al-Iman School Committee for their diligent efforts in studying and pursuing the expansion of our beloved school. The commitment they have shown in assessing the feasibility of this expansion is truly commendable. I also extend my sincere gratitude to the principal, administration, and teachers who tirelessly contribute to the development of our students on a daily basis. Your hard work does not go unnoticed and plays an instrumental role in shaping the future of our community. The achievements of Al-Iman School, as evidenced by the lengthy waiting list of eager students, stand as a testament to the exceptional quality of education that continues to be offered within its walls. This achievement would not have been possible without the dedication of our educators and the unwavering support of parents like you.

I want to be perfectly clear that the leadership of IAR, both the Shura and the Board of Directors, wholeheartedly supports the expansion of Al-Iman School. We view this expansion as a necessity to accommodate the growth of our community and to provide an even better educational experience for our children. The long waiting list is a clear indication of the trust you place in us, and we are committed to finding a solution to address this issue effectively. With that said, I would like to inform you about the upcoming Shura vote. It is essential to understand that the Shura’s decision regarding the expansion pertains specifically to the proposed Weston Parkway campus. This vote is not a choice between expansion and not expanding; it is about selecting the best course of action to meet the needs of our community in the most effective manner. If expansion to Weston is not a viable option for Al-Iman, the Shura and Board will work swiftly with Al-Iman to find alternative solutions to address the needs of our growing community.

As we move forward, let us keep our intentions sincere and our hearts united. May Allah (SWT) guide us to the decisions that align with His will and that bring about the best outcomes for our community. Your ongoing support and prayers are invaluable as we embark on this journey together. Thank you once again for your dedication, commitment, and belief in the vision of Al-Iman School. May Allah bless you and your families with success and happiness.

Wassalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,
