Introduction to Fiqh
Al Furqan School and Youth Committee announce a new Sunday class, “Introduction to the Study of Fiqh and the Evolution of the Mathahibs”
Class begins on October 20 and meets every Sunday at 10:30 AM.

Helping Our Community
IAR has been recognized and achieved Silver Certification by MUHSEN, an organization co-founded by Sh Omar Suleiman striving to create a better understanding of disabilities in our community and chart a better future.
To complete this, IAR volunteers and staff completed a checklist of several educational, data-gathering, facilities, and accessibility items.
Among the many to whom we are indebted, we would like to acknowledge and appreciate the remarkable volunteer efforts of Sr Azleena Azhar and Sr Arshiya Siddiqui.
Their co-leadership as volunteers of the IAR Wellness Team has enriched our community with expanding care and compassion for our congregation and beyond.
Award Ceremony
The 2019 Quran Contest Award ceremony will be held on Friday October 11 at 6:30 PM in the Multipurpose Hall.
Please join us in the celebration with your family and friends. All winners and participants will be recognized and refreshments will be served.
Mother Daughter Tea Party
IAR Women’s and Youth Committee invites you to a sisters only tea party. Sisters celebrate with the women who share your life.
Bring your Grandma, Mom, Aunt, Daughter, or Friend, just as long as you come to join the fun. Games, prizes, and inspirational activities for all ages. Light refreshments will be served.
Volunteer Committee
The IAR is delighted to announce the formation of the IAR Volunteer Committee.
The Volunteer Committee will develop uniform volunteer recruitment, orientation, training, and continuous quality improvement policies and procedures to ensure the volunteers at IAR get the most out of each volunteer experience.

Our Responsibilities
The Friday Night Program for September 27 between Maghrib and Isha is titled “Meet our reverts to Islam and the community’s responsibilities towards them.”
Please attend the program and strengthen our community.
High School Girls Halaqa
A weekly program for high school girls to gather and learn and develop sisterhood.
We meet every Saturday from 5:30-6:30 PM in the Second Floor Glass Rooms.
