Level 1 (Spring 2026)

Book: Foundations of Islamic Creed Made Easy by Sheikh Ahmad Al-Qadhi

This course provides an in-depth understanding of Islamic creed (Aqeedah). Students will explore the core tenets of faith, including belief in Allah, angels, prophets, holy books, the Last Day, and Qadar (divine predestination). The course aims to strengthen students’ faith and provide them with the knowledge to articulate and defend their beliefs.

Students will learn:
  • Why Allah exists and why He alone is worthy of worship
  • Why the Qur’an is truly the word of Allah
  • Why the Prophet ﷺ is a true messenger
  • Why Islam is the truth
  • The pillars of faith in detail

This course is designed to help students develop clarity, certainty, and confidence in Islam.

This course provides a comprehensive and practical understanding of two of the most essential acts of worship in Islam: purification (taharah) and prayer (salah). Rooted in the classical text ʿUmdat al-Fiqh, students will not only learn the rulings, but also develop clarity, confidence, and consistency in their daily worship.

1. Foundations of Purification (Taharah)

  • The concept, importance, and spiritual dimension of purification
  • Types of purification and when each is required
  • Detailed  study of:
  • Wuḍūʾ (ablution)
  • Ghusl (full purification)
  • Tayammum (dry purification)
  • Common mistakes in purification and how to correct them

2. Foundations of Prayer (Salah)

  • The significance of ṣalāh as the pillar of daily life
  • Conditions, pillars, and obligations of prayer
  • Step-by-step guidance on how to perform ṣalāh correctly
  • Different types of prayers and their rulings
  • Common errors in prayer and practical ways to fix them

Frequently Asked Questions

The Islamic Essentials Program is a comprehensive educational program designed to provide foundational knowledge in Islamic studies. It covers key topics such as Islamic law, theology, daily rituals, and Seerah.

No, you do not need to complete Level 1 to enroll in Level 2. Each level is designed to be independent, so you can join at any stage that suits your current knowledge and learning needs.

Our instructors are:

  • Imam Mohamed Badawy teaches “The Seeker’s Code of Conduct” and “Prophetic Beginnings: Life in Makkah.”
  • Imam Saif Morad teaches “Intro to Islamic Jurisprudence,” “Tahara Essentials,” “Salah Essentials,” and “Aqeedah Essentials.”

Each semester is 16 weeks long, with one additional exam day, making a total of 16 weeks.
