Before the Retreat
- Join our WhatsApp Group. Click here for the invite link.
- Review the suggested packing list.
- Fill out the Family Information Form if you haven’t done so already.
- Familiarize yourself with campus amenities.
- Please be mindful of the following:
- There are no options to add additional beds to the room you booked. If your family is large, plan to bring sleeping bags.
- Rooms do not come with a microwave or fridge.
- All rooms are equipped with soap, towels, sheets, blankets, and pillows.
- All buildings have house phones. Blue Ridge Center rooms have a phone in each room.
- The following are not permitted on YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly property: pets, camping, firearms and all weapons, tobacco use, candles, incense, and decorative lighting.
- Payment cannot be refunded or discounted for missed nights, meals, or programs.
Check-in Process
- Check-in time begins at 3 PM on Aug. 8th in the Blue Ridge Center lobby.
- You are welcome and encouraged to arrive earlier but your room(s) might not be ready.
- An adult for each room should bring an ID.
During the Retreat
- Check the WhatsApp group for the latest schedules and updates
- We will post prayer location and times in WhatsApp as well. We will be combining Duhr/Asr and Maghrib/Isha.
- Name tags will be provided to attendees and should be worn while on grounds as a measure of safety and security.
- Take lots of pictures! You can email them to [email protected] or tag/DM @RaleighMasjid
- Remember to stay hydrated!
- We are guests and representatives of Islam. Please be respectful of other groups at the facility. Leave no trace on trails and pick up after yourself and your families.

Main hall for IAR group. Used for prayers. Located in Blue Ridge Center.
West Room
Breakout room for IAR group. Located in Blue Ridge Center.

Breakout room for IAR group. Located in Blue Ridge Center.
Tenative Schedule
Checkout Time
The regular checkout time is 11:00 AM. They will not be able to offer us late checkout this year.
- You can use the time in between sessions for recreation and to relax! The campus amenities are available to you throughout your stay. After Checkout you are more then welcome to stay on site and use them as well!
