How can we plan for the akhira and not take advantage of the next nights?
Let’s say we earn $50,000 a year and a boss said “I need this done in the next 10 days, and if you finish it I’ll give you 83 years salary.” Would we take a vacation or work tirelessly until we completed it? For the chance to earn $4 million we would sleep in the office!
This is the offer Allah SWT gives us in the last ten nights. The impact of our good deeds on laylat-ul-qadr is greater than that of 1,000 months. We should strive to go out of our way to complete this project and earn as many good deeds as possible.
We rely on our generous community to create a lasting impact and ensure the continuous operations of your Masjid as the gathering place, school, and house of worship for Muslims across the Triangle.
Those who spend their wealth in charity day and night, secretly and openly—their reward is with their Lord, and there will be no fear for them, nor will they grieve.”
