The Islamic Association of Raleigh owns and manages the Muslim Cemetery located in Wendell, North Carolina approximately 25 miles to the north east of the Islamic Association of Raleigh. 

The IAR Cemetery, first used in 1994 is at 88% of its current capacity, this allows for roughly 1.5 years of janazahs to take place.

Alhamdulillah, the IAR already owns land surrounding the existing cemetery. As part of this project, the land must be cleared and brought up to the NC Cemetery Commission, Town of Wendell, and Wake County standards.
