Overview:
The Cleaning Technician I is responsible for performing routine cleaning and upkeep of the
IAR facility at the Page Road Campus. This role ensures a clean, safe, and welcoming
environment for community members, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be
reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions while working both independently
and as part of a team.
Primary Cleaning Duties (include but are not limited to):
- Basic cleaning in accordance with the IAR Cleaning Plan
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Detailing and spot-cleaning surfaces
- Dusting furniture and fixtures
- Emptying and removing trash
- Vacuuming carpets and rugs
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all assigned areas are cleaned on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, as scheduled
- Report any concerns regarding staff, equipment, or conditions to the Cleaning Supervisor
- Perform additional duties as needed or requested by the supervisor
- Support special projects or seasonal deep cleaning tasks
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, quality, and safety
- Cover open shifts when necessary
- Fulfill duties at Page Road Campus as assigned
Essential Functions:
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets cleanliness and quality standards
- Inspect and maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition
- Follow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
- Submit facility work requests for repairs or maintenance issues
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Good Command of English
- Ability to work well with others and follow instructions from the supervisor

- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
