The Missing Piece
The Missing Piece is a new weekly program offered by the IAR to fulfill the need in the community for an Islamic education for brothers and sisters at the high school and college levels. The class will focus on contemporary issues that affect our modern Muslim youth based on the Quran and Sunnah.
Audience: High School & College Brothers and Sisters
- Weekly on Sundays
- 2 separate sessions for Brothers & Sisters (Approximately 45 min. each)
- Sisters: 1:30-2:15 PM
- Brothers: 2:30-3:15 PM
Location: Room #240 on the 2nd floor of the IAR
- $30 per month for one student
- $25 per month each for two or more students
Instructor: Sheikh Chafik Bakkari
Sheikh Chafik Bakkari has been teaching Qur'an and Islamic Studies in the US for the past 14 years. He obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Islamic Theology in 1995 from Al-Qarawiyyeen University (the oldest university in the world) in Fez, Morocco. Three years later, he obtained a Certificate of Success in Business Jurisprudence from there. Along with this, Sheikh Chafik has a background in Law, Economics, and Science. He is currently a Qur'an teacher at An-Noor Quran Academy.
