Youth Programs Coordinator

The Islamic Association of Raleigh youth committee is seeking a part-time Youth Program Coordinator to work with the youth committee and the YC chairperson to successfully lead, brainstorm, plan, develop, build, implement, and evaluate programs that the YC chairperson assigns.   Strategically recruit, set goals, maximize resources, and ultimately, make each program more effective and sustainable. Launch new initiatives and programs in an organized and realistic manner to ensure future success and outcomes. This role requires 10-15 hours per week.

Within Each Program: 

Planning & Design:

  • Recruit and identify the team 
  • Plot a timeline
  • Establish goals and objectives
  • Identify intended results and outcomes    
  • Develop an evaluation plan

Implementation:

  • Track progress toward intended results and outcomes with periodic assessment
  • Review progress data
  • Collect data
  • Make recommendations

Evaluation & Accountability:

  • Conduct various levels of evaluation
  • Develop presentations to highlight successes
  • Communicate evaluation outcomes to stakeholders
  • Work on other duties as assigned.
