Fundraising On Friday October 13 For Myanmar/ Rohingya Refugees

Thousands of people across Myanmar (also known as Burma), are displaced, unable to return to their homes. The United Nations estimates that more than 168,000 people have been displaced since inter-community conflict erupted in 2012. About 500,000 people have sought shelter in Bangladesh since violence erupted in Myanmar in late August 2017, according to the United Nations.

Social & Welfare Committee of IAR will be conducting collection of funds for Rakhine State, Myanmar Refugees. Funds to be collected during all Jumma shifts on Friday, October 13, 2017. Please use marked envelopes provided in the IAR lobby and deposit your donations in the IAR Donation Box. All money collected in the collection baskets will also go towards Myanmar/ Rohingya Refugees. Donations will be send through Islamic Relief, USA.
