Community Immigration Seminar

The number of immigrant detentions and questioning by Immigrations and Customs Enforcement has gone up.

Why is this?

Are there some questions about status you would like to ask but you are unsure of how or who to ask?

Do you worry about your immigration status and would like to avoid costly fees?

Come and speak with Jay Weselmann, Immigrations Services Specialist based in Raleigh-Durham area.

Program begins after Maghrib prayer, Friday, October 22, at the ICR (Islamic Center of Raleigh); 808 Atwater St., Raleigh 27606

Please pass this message on to all immigrant communities. This program is free and you can avoid costly consultation fees.

There are procedures allowing certain aliens already in the United States to apply for immigrant status? Aliens admitted to the United States in a nonimmigrant, refugee, or parolee category may have their status changed to that of lawful permanent resident if they are eligible to receive an immigrant visa and one is immediately available.

Sponsored by MAS Immigrant Justice and Legal Clinic and North Carolina Peace Action.
